Label TextThis ink drawing of a female model may date from Sloan's time at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where he attended life class with Thomas Anshutz in 1894. Sloan left early that year when Anshutz scolded him for sketching his fellow students instead of the model.
