Label TextFrom the very beginning, a love of literature and the printed book was a key component of Pre-Raphaelitism. Original members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood contributed to and radically changed current attitudes towards illustration. In the next generation, William Morris focused on the book as a whole, from cover to contents. Here Morris conceives the cover design for his book of narrative poems, The Earthly Paradise.
