Label TextLocals were scandalized when Hamilton Easter Field offered art classes with models posed nude on the rocks at Perkins Cove in Ogunquit, Maine. The Dada figure Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven (1874–1927) was among the models during the summer of 1915. During breaks she reportedly bathed nude in the ocean, creating further commotion.
