Label TextAfter attending a performance by the dance-mime Angna Enters (who had been one of Sloan's students at the Art Students League), the artist invited her to pose. This session resulted in several drawings and the etching "Contre Danse." Most of Sloan's other images of Enters were developed from memory and sketches made of her performing.
