Label TextAfter early training in his native England, Louis Rhead studied and worked in London, New York, and Paris. While Rhead gained his greatest fame for his posters, illustration--especially for books aimed at youthful audiences--was also a major part of his multi-faceted career. In these drawings he captures the drama and dangers of Stevenson's adventure story.
