Label TextWorking within a Minimalist tradition, Edda Renouf creates patterns by removing threads from the Belgian linen support of her paintings. Once altered, the canvas is prepared, stretched, painted, and sanded before the artist applies the final layers of glazing to reveal the image. This method serves to highlight the surface and internal structure of the material.
