Label TextCharles Hubbard Wright had a varied career as a poster artist, cartoonist, and painter in oil and watercolor. Little detail is known of his career, though he was a member of the Society of Illustrators, New Rochelle Art Association, Salmagundi Club, New York Water Color Club, and Guild of Free Lance Artists. He exhibited with the Art Institute of Chicago and the Society of Independent Artists.

The New York Herald was published in New York City from 1835 to 1924.
