Label TextAfter a townsman kills a man, he allows a fellow citizen to fall under suspicion, who is hounded he finally moves away. Some years later, the killer joins a life-saving crew (shown here) to rescue victims of a shipwreck. He discovers that the man he is trying to save is the victim of his deception. Gravely wounded during the rescue, the killer confesses to the murder as he dies, exonerating the other man.
