Label TextThe Critic for The Inland Printer, a magazine dedicated to the advancement of artistic quality in printed materials, described this poster as "a startling creation in red and green." The curvilinear style and emphasis on floral forms place the design in the Art Nouveau tradition. The New Bohemian offered prints of this poster "mailed to any address, securely packed in a strong tube, postpaid" for 25 cents. The magazine's advertisement read:
