Biography: A successful painter and printmaker, Williams studied in New York at the National Academy of Design and in Paris at the Académie Colarossi. He was a protégé of the noted printmaker Ernest Roth. He exhibited widely in New York, won many awards, and taught at the Grand Central School of Art.
