Norman Orr
Date: American artist and craftsman, born 1949
Biography: Born outside of San Francisco, Orr was in high school when the psychedelic movement took root. Inspired by the poster art of Rick Griffin and Stanley Mouse as well as by 19th-century graphics, Orr tried his hand at poster design, eventually producing a dozen posters for rock promoter Bill Graham.
