Charles A. Colombo
Date: American artist, 1927–2015
Biography: Wilmington artist Charles Colombo studied with his uncle Charles DeFeo and Frank Schoonover, and with John McCoy at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. For 20 years he maintained a career in commercial art as well as painting independently. He painted primarily in watercolor, often on Japanese tissue. Colombo had a solo exhibition at the Delaware Art Museum in 1971.
