About: Philadelphia painter Humbert Howard incorporated collage into his paintings in the late 1960s and 1970s. Affiliated with the Pyramid Club, the Barnes Foundation, and the John A. Lee Memorial Adult Cultural Center, Howard was a central figure in the Philadelphia art scene.
