Grandville published a successful series of 70 lithographic caricatures entitled The Metamorphoses of the Day, depicting animals in human attire and participating in human activities, as a way of commenting on social, political and cultural issues of the day. -Give me a half-ounce of an emetic in a small packet for a lady who has had an attack. --This isn’t a pharmacy.
