About: This poster was designed for the Third Liberty Loan campaign in which the general public was encouraged to buy U.S. Government Bonds. "The Hun" was a common pejorative used in America for the German enemy; the eipthet associated German soldiers with Attila’s nomadic hoards of the 5th century ACE who swept across the continent committing slaughter and destruction.
