About: Verso of Twelve Figures on the Street, 1979-49a. Olga the Headless Girl was a popular sideshow illusion in the late 1930s and early 1940s in England and the United States. A New Yorker, Marsh could have seen headless girl shows at the 1939 World's Fair and at Coney Island.
